Access facilities at Cromer Museum

All public galleries and spaces are fully accessible. A lift connects the ground and first floor of the museum.

In the event of a fire, the lift at Cromer Museum cannot be used. We therefore advise that in the event of an emergency evacuation, only those comfortable with the possibility of a negotiated descent of the stairs should use the rooms on the first floor of the museum. This includes the museum's Education Room.

For those visitors unable to use the upper floors it is possible to view details of collections on display there.

Carers

If you will be visiting with a carer, they will be admitted to the museum free of charge.

Assistance dogs

Assistance dogs are very welcome. Ask for a bowl of water at the reception desk.

Facilities for people with impaired hearing and sight

If you would like access information in large print email us at: cromer.museum@norfolk.gov.uk or call 01263 513543. Interpretation notes are available for the companions of blind and visually impaired visitors so you all get the most from your visit.

Accessible toilets

There are wheel/pushchair accessible toilets along with baby changing facilities on the ground floor of the museum.
